After the Pandemic, the Borough of Highland Park began to return the closed street spaces to vehicles under NJDOT mandate. Our Main Street team applied for the
My role was to:
Design the parklets collaboratively with a local architect and carpenter.
Research, evaluate, and present quotes and timelines.
Collaborate/illustrate/document the design for the grant proposal.
Acting as the medium between the Borough of Highland Park, the Main Street board, and the carpenter, conveying the real-world implications of placement and construction.
